Her longing for love is beautifully expressed in musical, rhythmic verses which evokes a chivalric and fairy-tale atmosphere. The happy ending of the poem depicts a charming prince on a winged horse heading straight to the palace, who is soon to “ignite her lips with one amorous kiss”.
